A week in Caxias do Sul seeing firsthand the largest industrial innovation fair in Latin America.
I spent this week in Caxias do Sul at Mercopar. The 35th edition of the fair, considered the largest industrial innovation fair in Latin America, was held at the Festa da Uva Events Center in Caxias do Sul, from October 20-23. It was an intense week of innovation, technology and, above all, people.
A fair the size of the region's industry
This year, Mercopar occupied all 38,000 m² of the exhibition center, with 545 exhibitors from Brazil and Portugal, most from Rio Grande do Sul, plus 50 startups. Walking through the pavilions is to see up close where industry is headed: automation, digitalization, new solutions and lots of willingness to make things happen.
Business rounds: where connections become opportunities
I participated in the business rounds connecting with traditional companies and startups, representing Robustec and Pesaline. LBF was also present at the rounds. It was very enriching to see how these two worlds complement each other. The rounds are one of the fair's great engines and open thousands of opportunities for small companies to do business with large ones in a practical way.
At Mercopar with Sebrae and Fiergs
Mercopar has Sebrae RS and Fiergs as its main supporters. I connected there with traditional companies and startups, and saw firsthand how these institutions create space for small companies to connect with large ones.
I had a good conversation with Sebrae and Senai about how to support companies in technology and innovation. It's always good to be at this kind of event where these institutions are mobilizing the industry.
Visit to Rede RS Indústria 4.0
I made sure to stop by the Rede RS Indústria 4.0 stand to give a hug to my friend Paulo Cesar Mayer, a spectacular guy. I went to show my appreciation for his work and learn more about the initiatives aimed at bringing innovation and technology to Rio Grande do Sul's industry.
The Network has been working in partnership with Sebrae RS and Senai-RS, showing the synergy among different actors in the state's production chain. Congratulations, Paulo, for your work and your contribution to the development of Industry 4.0 in Rio Grande do Sul.
Connection is what moves the industry
I believe strongly in the importance of connecting with people, sharing experiences and bringing companies closer to new technologies and new opportunities. It is from this interaction that partnerships and initiatives emerge that are capable of driving the development of Rio Grande do Sul's industry.
We continue at Bullseye valuing good connections and turning relationships into opportunities.
